Stuff

April was a very busy month....

My dad had heart surgery on the 9th... he's recovering very nicely and feeling great.

My friend Brian visited from Portland. Alas, I have no pictures. Brian works for UltimateBet.com -- an awesome online poker site. Check it out.

Career

I had lots of real estate related stuff to do. I attended a real estate trade show on the 7th. It was a lot like computer trade shows... lots of free stuff... and lots of people trying to grab your attention and demo their products. I also studied like crazy for a mid-term in my Real Estate Economics class... and continued working on my Real Estate Principles (license) course.

Gardening

I spent a day helping Robin in her garden. Mr Toes was on hand to help as usual.

After about 6 hours of pruning we managed to turn this...

into this...

I'm not sure it was actually an improvement... but Robin swore they would all grow back in no time. (And was she ever right. A month later you could barely tell we'd whacked anything!).

Entertainment

Dave and I attended ArtWalk in the Little Italy section of downtown San Diego. We got to see lots of awesome art -- and I finally got to see Eve Selis in concert. Here's some pictures that Dave took during the concert.

Health & Fitness

Still having problems with the hip... starting to lose hope in this new physical therapy.

Despite the hip problems, I also did lots of hiking. George & rediscovered Lake Hodges and did lots of hiking on the North shore. We have finally completed the entire North Shore trail. We also climbed the hill with the big Escondido E on it.

Pictures will eventually show up on my hiking page.
