Entertainment Dave and I spent a weekend in Borrego Springs at the Palm Canyon Resort. We hiked to the Oasis on Saturday. It was extremely crowded, but we still had a good time. We took the alternate trail back, which luckily not quite as many other people had discovered. On Saturday night, we enjoyed dinner at a local hangout -- Carlee's (recommended by Robin and Carrie who had visited there just a few days before us) -- and managed to escape just as the karaoke was starting! On the way back from Borrego Springs, we stopped in Warner Springs so that Dave could get his birthday glider ride at Sky Sailing. I think it was a big hit!
