The tile is done! Yee ha!
There's still grouting and caulking and other little things to do, but the bulk of the work is now done!
The backsplash takes shape...
Grout
The shower enclosure and part of the backsplash get grout. We're waiting for a few more of the quarter-round tiles to finish the backsplash, so Sean can't grout the left half yet.
Sean completes the tiling part of the backsplash.
Then he cleans up the grout lines a little in the shower enclosure and installs part of the shower hardware. It's starting to look cool.
Light Poles
Sean takes a break from the bathroom and replaces the light pole in my front yard.
Let's hope the waterproofing on the electrical connection holds... 'cause it looks like somebody's sprinkler is getting it!
Sean also finishes up the grout on the backsplash.
The only thing left to do is finish up the edge detail. I didn't like the way Sean took the quarter-round past the edge of the countertop... so he is going to install an additional "beak" at the bottom to make it look more finished. On Tuesday of next week he should complete that, finish installing the additional hardware in the tub enclosure -- and he's done!
