Guest bath remodel

My neighborhood was recently involved in a class action lawsuit against the builder for construction defects. Among the myriad defects found in the house, it was discovered that the bathroom shower enclosures were not correctly waterproofed. I *finally* had that repair work done, along with some other repairs that I've been putting off forever! Now, unfortunately, I need to deal with repairs on the repair work... I am not a happy camper.

This page shows the progress from beginning to end (most recent on top). Click on the "Week of..." links to see the gory details!

Week of 4/22
This week... the reconstruction begins. Installation begins on faucets and light fixtures. We're side-tracked by the need to replace the water shutoff valve on the side of the house, but by weeks end, final decisions have been made on the lights, faucets and tile... and Sean and I are starting to figure each other out.

Week of 4/15
Well, the terror, er work, has begun. Poor Sean. I'm so intimidated by everything. Everytime he tries to explain all the work that needs to be done, all I see are the dollar signs. Sean favorite word this week: RELAX!

By the end of the first week, the demolition is done in the guest bath. Next week, we start putting it all back together. Big decisions must be made regarding tile and faucets.
