On my recent trip to Cambria with Robin, our hotel room had this light fixture in it. I really like it and it goes well with other light fixtures that I installed a few years ago. So -- it's a strong contender for the guest bath vanity. And coincidentally, Home Depot carries the exact same fixture.
Now I'm thinking the dark fixture will work better in the master bedroom and a brushed nickel finish will work better in the guest bathroom... so here's some possibilities.
Sean thinks this tile (or something like it) would go really well with that light fixture. I tend to agree, but it's really, really different from what I had originally been thinking.
I'd been thinking about plain, old, shiny bathroom tile... the kind found in every tract home in America.
Here's the latest tile under consideration. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the one on the left. I haven't figured out which decorative accent I may use, but there are lots of possibilities below.
Robin and I recently visited some (very expensive) model homes and found some cool looking bathrooms there. Here's some ideas for tiling the shower enclosures.
Here's close-ups of some interesting tile detail.
The faucets are a done deal now. Here's the ones I picked out.
