Background Info:

My neighborhood was recently involved in a class action lawsuit against the builder for construction defects. Among the myriad defects found in the house, it was discovered that the bathroom shower enclosures were not correctly waterproofed. I'm *finally* having that repair work done.

I've been putting the work off forever -- partly because I never seemed to have the right combination of time and money -- but mostly because I just found the prospect of trying to find a competent contractor to do the work too daunting. Last year, I discussed the project with Robin's construction/landscape crew and tried to talk Sean into taking the job as a weekend project. He showed some interest, but didn't have the free time. Recently, through a series of events that I had NOTHING to do with (really, Robin, I swear), Sean has parted company with Chris (Robin's contractor) and decided to venture out on his own. When he called last week to see if I still wanted him to do my bathrooms, I off course said YES... but then panic set in as I realized he wanted to start right away. Suddenly (after a year of procrastinating) I find myself having to make decisions about bathroom fixtures, tile, flooring, lighting, etc.
