Spent a great day with Lois and David in mid-January. David gave us the grand tour of downtown and Balboa Park and took us to a lovely little restaurant (which I can't remember the name of). At lunch, David was his usual inexplicable self...

And Lois and I were, of course, as sweet as ever...

Since I was still doing my weird diet, I got a cup of soup and a glass of tea, while others got to partake of bread, salad, pasta and a variety of other goodies.

A good time was had by all. I just wish we could have done it again before Lois abandoned us for Texas.
