Robin's Unitarian Church organized a bus trip up to the Getty Museum, so I decided to tag along. Parts of the museum were -- yawn -- boring (I'm sorry but just how many religious art paintings does the world need??). However, I was completely awestruck by seeing a Monet and a Van Gogh in person. And the Rembrandt was unbelievable. It gave me goose bumps to think that I was standing inches away from something that Rembrandt himself had touched.
