When I worked at NCR, I made *many* great friends. Lucky for me, Debbie was one of them because if it wasn't for her, I would have lost touch with everyone.

Another great friend from NCR is Mike. Mike and Debbie are married now, and live in San Ramon, CA. Every once in a while, they come down to visit -- and Debbie always organizes activities with another wonderful friend from NCR, Ron. Ron is now married to Donna (not from NCR, but a wonderful person nonetheless!).

So, in June, Debbie attended a conference in La Jolla and Mike came along to keep her company. While Debbie was attending her conference, Mike and I met for lunch in Carlsbad. We spent a lot of time catching up... but still too short a visit. That Saturday, I spent a great afternoon with Debbie at my house. It's amazing how even though we haven't seen each other in a very long time, we can just start talking like we saw each other yesterday. Even though we spent hours talking, I feel like we barely even began to catch up with each other. We definitely need to plan more frequent visits.

Debbie organized a dinner with Mike, Ron, Donna and me at a great Cajun restaurant in Pacific Beach. Here we all are, having a great time!

While Debbie was visiting, she told me about some of her cross-stitch projects. She sent me these pictures of Buddy and Shelly and her absolutely amazing cross-stitch renditions of them.
