Entertainment George and I went camping and hiking in the Anza Borrego desert. We found 4 geocaches while we were there. Here's a picture of one of our campsites and a picture of Blair Valley taken during a hike up Ghost Mountain.
Romance Dave continues to be one of the most understanding people I know. How many guys would let their girlfriend go camping for four days with their ex-husbands? Amazing... Dave's birthday was this month. To celebrate we went to the Sand Crab Cafe in San Marcos. We got to smash the crap out of about 4 different kinds of crab. What fun! For his present, I surprised him with a gift certificate for an aerobatic glider ride. I think he was genuinely surprised (and happy!). For Valentine's Day, Dave surprised me with a dozen red roses and then took me to a lovely restaurant in Oceanside where we were seated just in time to watch the sun set over the ocean. It was beautiful! That night, my pesky little cats knocked over the vase of roses, and they suffered greatly for going a whole night without water (the roses, not the cats... although they should have suffered, too!).
Health & Fitness The hip still hurts, but I am seeing some improvement. I've added in a little more hiking, but still nothing like I used to do.
