George's house... before and after

Here's the living room.

Before...	Scraped the ceiling, paint preparations
First coat of white	Add a little blue trim
Check out the view	New carpet, new ceiling fan, and Rex (on the mantle)
Add some furniture, and voila!

Here's the kitchen and dining room.

George and I painted the dining room and kitchen a very elegant shade of gray. We then added new chair rail molding, wainscoting and baseboard. George decided to get the new molding and wainscoting professionally painted, because neither of us has the skill required for that! That will be done in the next few weeks. George is also going to get the kitchen cabinets painted and add new floor and counters.

The dining room gets a nice shade of gray. We mocked up the wainscoting with white.	The kitchen gets gray, too.
The baseboard is up; the wainscoting begins.	We mocked up the chair rail and wainscoting to see if we can paint it. We can't!
Power tools!	Not done painting yet... but it looks cool!
Furniture makes all the difference.
