George closed escrow on his house in early May -- and in June, finally moved in. In between, he added new paint & carpet and some new ceiling fans and light fixtures. In November, he continued the remodel with the longest weekend project in history. Check out the latest remodel pictures.
Here's some pictures of the house. They don't really do it justice... it's difficult to capture the charm AND the view. The house is near the top of a beautiful sloped lot. The front yard has three terraced areas... some of which are beautifully landscaped... some need a little work. The bottom terrace contains fruit trees (orange, tangelo, grapefruit, avocado, lemon, peach, apricot and (maybe) apple) -- and a place for a vegetable garden.
A large deck surrounds most of the front of the house... a great place for summer barbeques while enjoying the awesome view. There's a tree growing right through the deck, which should provide some shade once it comes back in (it has recently been pruned *way* back).
